Managing ESOL Classes

Wondering where to start?

Whether you have all the materials in place to start an ESOL class or you simply have the idea and the resolve, we can help!

Previously as Glasgow ESOL Forum, we ran community classes of many types for over 20 years. Now as ESOL Scotland, we would like to extend that expertise to other organisations and continue to develop our reputation as a 'force for good' in ESOL provision in Glasgow and across Scotland.

Who should sign up?

Maybe you are an individual, mid-sized or a larger organisation - whatever your scale we have a range of different options for you. Ideally, you should have as a minimum:

  • A potential source of learners
  • Ideas of possible locations for your class/es
  • An idea of what you hope to achieve
  • Some experience of education
  • Plenty of energy!

We can provide:

  • Training on best practices
  • Support and advice on key 'things to consider' like policies and procedures you should have in place, ideas for learner recruitment and 'onboarding'
  • A visit to your space to consult on how you could set it up and things to bear in mind
  • Ongoing support and training if you choose to join our networks

Costs and Contact
