Do you work in a public-facing role and frequently come into contact with people who aren't yet proficient in English? Have you ever tried to share important information but you're not sure it's getting across? It could be that you need to learn a few simple skills that ESOL teachers use regularly in our classrooms - after all, we deliver everything in English, without knowledge of our learners' first languages!
