Through our Volunteer Tutor Project we run community classes throughout Glasgow taught by volunteer tutors. Classes take place in areas of high demand for ESOL such as Toryglen, Bridgeton, Knightswood and Anderston. The work that ESOL volunteers do is vital in preparing learners for life in Scotland and classes build learners’ confidence as they prepare for work, further study and increased engagement in the community.

Through our Volunteer Tutor Project, we also run our Coordinators of ESOL Volunteers Scotland network. We support volunteer coordinators in ESOL around Scotland through training and sharing best practice.
