Maria Walker joined our board in November 2021. She has been working with children and young people who have English as an Additional Language for over 30 years and since 2012 was Head of Glasgow City Council’s EAL Service.

She has been involved in many developments around EAL and equalities, both in Glasgow and nationally. She is now retired and continues her involvement in EAL and equalities through consultancy work.
